👥 Job Shadow

This is a great way for students to see firsthand what a day in the life looks like in a certain industry/pathway.

  • Students go to a facility to observe and follow professionals in the industry.  They can ask questions, watch, and learn.
  • 1/2 day to full day per job shadow

👨‍🏫 Internships

  • Students spend 60-120 hours at a site to test their interest in a career within the industry, occupation, and/or employer.
  • Students can earn high school credit for completing their internship

⏲️ Apprenticeships

  • Students will spend over 1,000 hours (depending on apprenticeship) with an employer.
  • Employers provide students with hands-on career training, education, and a paycheck.
  • Apprentices can earn college credit for their apprenticeship and gain skills and credentials needed to work in an industry.
