DISTRICT 11 ACADEMICS
Effective education begins by separating three important questions: What are students expected to learn? How will we help them learn it? And who are the students sitting in front of us? The "what" is guided by academic standards and curriculum. The "how" is shaped by high-quality instructional practices and learning experiences. The "who" recognizes that every student brings unique strengths, needs, interests, and experiences. By keeping these three elements distinct, educators can maintain rigorous learning expectations while adapting instruction to meet the needs of every learner.
