All gifted students will accomplish challenging post-secondary work/force goals and become productive, creative citizens capable of succeeding in their area(s) of strength.

We Believe


 

We believe that Gifted and Talented students deserve thoughtfully differentiated instruction from educators who are trained to meet their unique learning needs.

Our program is designed to identify and support a wide range of learners whose talents and abilities require specialized educational opportunities. We are committed to providing the resources necessary to help these students reach their full academic potential.

Ensure gifted student growth and achievement through a systems of support, programming, and advocacy.

Goals

It is our goal that gifted students have to opportunity to:


 

  • Develop higher level thinking skills
  • Develop creative thinking and problem solving skills
  • Develop research skills as applied to "real world" problems

  • Develop self-esteem and self-understanding
  • Work with others of similar ability
  • Progress at rate and pace appropriate to abilities and learning styles
  • Develop effective communication skills
  • Create products that are unique and synthesize major concepts
