Visual Arts
To prepare for your TIPP day experience, you will bring three original pieces of art in your portfolio for the adjudicators to review on February 27, 2024. If your piece is too fragile, too large, or too heavy to bring to TIPP Day, you may take 5 photographs that represent it well from varying angles.
What is an art portfolio?
An art portfolio is a collection of projects which best represent an artist’s work. Depending on the media used, a portfolio can include actual artwork, or photographic documentation of the artwork. Hardcopies of 2D work, like original fine art, could be included as well as sketchbooks, pencil drawings, small sculptures, and prototypes of clothes in fashion design.
Your teachers are here to help you. If you need support in assembling your portfolio, reach out to your art teacher and ask for support.
