D11 Comprehensive Health

Colorado Springs School District 11 offers comprehensive health education that emphasizes overall student wellness, including physical, mental, and emotional health and provides age-appropriate information using evidence-based, district-adopted curricular resources. The three primary areas of focus in comprehensive health education are: 1) physical and personal wellness, 2) emotional and social wellness, and 3) prevention and risk management, which provide students with the knowledge and skills to support their continued development and overall wellness.
