HEALTH SCIENCES PATHWAY

Health Science (General) CTE pathways is a practical pathway to explore careers in Health Care that may have immediate employment based on industry certifications and local training opportunities through the community college system. In many cases, students can begin their industry certification during or the year after completing this Health Science Pathway. Students will find this pathway foundational in understanding the Health Care profession, including a broadened understanding of the jobs in Health Care and the qualifications for those jobs. Students will also develop a strong foundation for fundamental issues in health care related to diet and self-care, as well as complete a year of Anatomy & Physiology.
