District 11's own Future Educator Pathway program provides students with the opportunity to learn more about the teaching profession through various courses like Child & Adolescent Development, Life Management Interpersonal Relationships, Early Childhood Education 1011, 1031, 1045 and Teacher Cadet. Milo Hancock, Odyssey ECCO sophomore, is enrolled in the Teacher Cadet class. His is currently interning in a 3rd grade classroom at Audubon Elementary school. His mentor teacher is Ms. Brooker. Today he taught a lesson on ratios and algebraic patterns. He did a fantastic job standing in front of the class, modeling and guiding students along the way through direct instruction and questioning to meet the lesson objective.
