Engineering
Engineering pathways introduce students to a rich curriculum that is designed to foster imagination, innovation and invention. Students learn design thinking and how to explore problem solving through the processes of engineering. Supported by the rich curriculum from Project Lead The Way, the engineering programs in District 11 help students take their learning beyond the classroom. In each PLTW Engineering course, students explore the wide-breath of engineering to take on the roles of real professionals and solve tomorrow’s global challenges. Students can engage in work-based learning, co-curricular student organizations such as robotics, and the nationally recognized SkillsUSA student conferences.
