Aviation Science

The D11 Aviation Science pathway is designed to introduce students to the multifaceted aerospace industry and the many career pathways within it.  Students will have the opportunity to specialize in multiple aviation paths including certified unmanned aerial vehicle pilot (UAVs - commercial drone flight), Certified Aircraft Maintenance Technician (Airframe and Powerplant – A&P), and Certified manned aircraft pilot. Along the way students will gain experience through simulation exercises as well as actual (hands-on) industry-level, practical applications using a variety of aircraft systems. Students choosing to perform at advanced levels are eligible to apply for several highly coveted fully funded pilot licensing scholarships.
