Internet Equity Project
Imagine being a child in this pandemic without internet access or using a cell phone to access school. We have students that are homeless or experiencing poverty. All of these children deserve equitable learning opportunities. $100 will buy a family one year of internet.
The Foundation for School District 11 has joined with district leaders to support a new district initiative, Internet Equity for D11 Students.
You can support our students with a donation that will help to bring service to enrolled D11 students so they can participate in distance learning throughout the school year.
Please help fund Internet Equity for D11 students! https://foundationford11.com

To say this school year has been incredibly challenging for students, families, and school staff is an understatement. For teachers, this year has been an overwhelmingly long journey that has proven to be hard, but also transformational. As we celebrate National Teacher Appreciation Week, May 3-7, we know our educators have fought hard to keep kids engaged and up to grade level with academics. However, in true educator spirit, they’ve also worked to help students with social emotional challenges, food insecurity, and technology access for remote learning. As we approach the end of this school year, Colorado Springs School District 11 would like to send a heartfelt thanks to all of our educators.
We want to share our congratulations to the Class of 2021! To our graduating seniors, we know life holds many opportunities for you. We hope your journey to success is exciting and filled with pleasant surprises. For our continuing fifth and eighth grade students, your next move to middle and high school will be memorable and filled with new opportunities. We wish the #D11Classof2021 success, happiness, and opportunity as you spread your wings and fly!
