  • Responsibility of the Community Liaison

Under Title VI grant guidelines the community liaison is another resource that monitors, mentors and assists the Native American/Alaskan Native population of students to ensure success and stability during and beyond their educational years.  As long as the child is showing more than adequate growth academically, socially and emotionally, there is no interference.  Struggling students are regularly tracked, and liaisons work diligently with teachers, faculty, families, and the community to get them back on track and college or career ready.
