Welcome to Mrs. Archuleta's class site!!! To the left of this auto-biography, you will find links for everything you will need to succeed in my classes. If you don't see something that you need, please contact me and I'll be sure to get it up and running for you!

I have been teaching since 1990. In that time, I have taught grades K, 4, 5, Special Education, and been a behavior consultant. I moved to middle school in the fall of 2016, teaching primarily 6th grade math. In the fall of 2020, I returned to Rudy and fifth grade where my heart is!

In the years since earning my Bachelor's degree to teach elementary education, I have worked hard to earn a Master's Degree in Special Education (UCCS) with emphasis in all learning challenge areas. I also earned a Master's Degree in Integrated Natural Sciences (Colorado College)--emphasis on Math and Science. As much as I love to teach and lead students to new learning, I also love to learn!

When I am not in school, I enjoy time with my two dogs and two cats, my husband, and (when they have time for a visit) my three step-children. We are a very active household with cycling, sports and critters running amuck. In quiet times, I enjoy reading historical fiction as well as materials that help me to continue to learn the art of teaching, which has never been the same from one year to the next.
