Hello!  I am Mrs. Thornock, a Colorado Springs native and proud graduate of School District 11.  I come from a family of D11 educators and am blessed to continue the "family business" at Keller Elementary School.  I married my high school sweetheart, Jason, and together we have 3 children.  After graduating from Colorado State University with a degree in Accounting, I obtained my CPA license and then worked for 15 years in accounting and finance.  I always knew, however, that I would teach and in 2009 I got my Masters in Elementary Education and began my second career.  I LOVE teaching and I LOVE teaching kindergarten.  Getting to see first-hand the growth these amazing kids make each year is truly a blessing.  I believe in setting the bar high and really challenging each child to be their very best both academically and personally.  In my classroom, "we are not afraid of hard," and will therefore push through the challenges that come with all of the new things these kids are tasked with learning.  Aside from continually striving to be the best kindergarten teacher I can be, I enjoy reading, playing games, and cheering on the Broncos and Avalanche.
