Hello!  My name is Mrs. Thompson and I am a Special Education Teacher.  I have been working with students with special needs for over 20 years as a Special Education Teacher.  This is my 1st year at Doherty, although both of my children graduated from here.  When I am not at work I like to spend time with my family.  I have a son who graduated from Colorado State University in Fort Collins and is now attending the police academy, and a daughter who is a Freshman at Pikes Peak Community College.  My husband and I love to play golf when we have a chance!  I love working with students and am priviledged to be working with such an amazing team!
