Our Future Educator program provides students with hands-on experiences that grow student’s understanding of teaching by examining how diversity, cultural, and social aspects impact the profession. Milo Hancock, Odyssey ECCO sophomore, is enrolled in the Teacher Cadet class. His is currently interning in a 3rd grade classroom at Audubon Elementary school. His mentor teacher is Ms. Brooker. Today he taught a lesson on ratios and algebraic patterns. He did a fantastic job standing in front of the class, modeling and guiding students along the way through direct instruction and questioning to meet the lesson objective.
