    Where students learn the basics of crocheting!

    Start Date: Monday February 6th

    End Date: Tuesday March 14th

    When: Mondays and Tuesdays 2:50-3:30. Two days are held for this club to allow time for students to create and finish their projects. Starting Monday February 6-March 14Monday

    Where: BV Music Room, afterschool

    What to bring: $5 for student materials (material bag, yarn, crochet hook, markers, yarn needle, Poly-fil stuffing, and safety eyes for stuffed animals). Water bottle and snack (if needed).

    Pick up: 3:30pm in front of school

Where do I start?

  • You can begin with a pattern or practice on your own with different tutorials.

    Before you begin, it's good to know how to read the label on the yarn to choose the right size and type of yarn and the recommended size of crochet hook.

    Below is a diagram of the different parts of the yarn label. This yarn is Super Bulky 6 (Label 2), the recommended crochet hook size is US-N (Label 5), and it is also 106yd long (Label 4).
