Tesla Educational Opportunity School provides young adults who experience difficulties in traditional high schools an alternative way to earn a diploma. Tesla offers both middle and high school programming, serving grades 7-12. Tesla’s middle and high school offer smaller classes, where students can get individualized attention as needed. Both middle and high school students receive direct instruction, with an emphasis on Project Based Learning, which helps students experience success within the classroom.Furthermore, Tesla’s staff uses Capturing Kids Hearts techniques and small class sizes to encourage building genuine positive relationships with our students and increased parent communication. Our goal is to provide our students with an educational experience that is relevant and meaningful to them. Along with Project Based Learning being a school-wide emphasis, Tesla High School also offers several industry certifications that meet the new graduation requirements through its Outdoor Leadership Program, Vocational Alternative Cooperative Education Program, and Microsoft Office Specialist Program.
