Galileo offers a strong, positive, diverse community where students learn in a safe and fun environment.Galileo is home to a large geodesic dome greenhouse and many raised garden beds, which is part of our Advanced Hands-On Science. In addition to learning science content (biology, botany, and some chemistry), students will learn about organic gardening techniques and sustainability. The food we help produce is served in meals at Galileo and in other District 11 schools. Our scholars have daily access to hands-on learning, with real-world experiences, using 21st Century technology throughout school, becoming creative thinkers and lifelong learners, and empowering the whole child to profoundly impact our world.
