West Elementary is a family-centered, positive, supportive learning community building on the unique Westside tradition to foster creators of the future and empowering students to profoundly impact our world. West has a full-time counselor, community liaison and social worker. To support student social-emotional learning, we implement the Random Acts of Kindness Curriculum. We are also implementing Capturing Kids’Hearts, a program of intentional acts to create a positive school culture and climate. West has a rigorous academic program designed to support each student’s individual needs.
