James Monroe Elementary is a community school that emphasizes academic rigor and positive character development. We are committed to working with families to individualize the school experience and ensure success for every child. We offer a robust academic program for students beginning as young as three-years-of-age, and we support our scholars until they transition to middle school. We offer small class sizes, small group reading and math interventions, and all students have opportunities to engage with a 1:1 technology ratio at all grade levels. We serve a student population speaking over ten different languages at home, and our English language learning team provides daily support in and out of the classroom.
