At Buena Vista Elementary, we “Find the key, unlock the potential!” Buena Vista is a public Montessori school, serving students age three through sixth grade. All our students attend on a Choice Permit, and our staff, students, and families form a tight-knit community in which every child is known and nurtured. At Buena Vista, we emphasize development of the whole child. Through our rigorous academic curriculum and the opportunity for students to explore concepts independently and use specially designed, hands-on materials, our students develop the skills needed to think critically, work collaboratively, and act boldly. We are proud to be Accredited with Distinction by the Colorado Department of Education for academic achievement and growth.
