My name is Lisa Amen and I was born and raised in Colorado. I live in Woodland Park and spend my free time outdoors hiking with my dog, playing disc golf, camping with my kids, and going to live music! Before becoming a teacher, I was an archaeologist and worked all over the U.S., looking for prehistoric sites and artifacts. Once my kids started school, I decided to become a teacher. I’ve been with District 11 for 16 years and this is my second year at Midland. I taught second grade for 9 years and this is my seventh year of third grade. I’m very happy to be at Midland and enjoy my time there with the students and staff members!
