New Employee Orientation (NEO)
New Employee Orientation (NEO) is a compilation of video presentations by district leaders. Division & department supervisors provide important information for new employees (Educational Support Professionals, Certified Staff, and Executive Professionals) personal and professional needs. Communications, Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, Equal Opportunity Programs/Ombudsman Services, and Safety are examples of presentation topics. Additional resources such as PERA and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) benefits are available via online links.
- New Employee Orientation (NEO) is completed via an online course via the Professional Learning Platform (PLP).
- Professional Learning communicates with new staff, via email, directing them to complete the online course. Printed and video directions explaining how to complete the course are provided for the employee in the email message.
- NEO Course #10932 is available in the PLP Course Catalog.
