    D11 offers new Education Support Professionals two ways to participate in district orientation.

    In-person New Education Support Professionals (ESP) Employee Orientation (NEO)

    • This in-person training welcomes all newly-hired Education Support Professionals (ESP) from all job families.
      • In-person NEO occurs quarterly and is mandatory for new ESP.
    • Please discuss your attendance with your supervisor so they can plan for you to attend training.

    Online New Employee Orientation (NEO) is available for all new hires. The course is comprised of presentation videos developed by district leaders. Division & department supervisors provide important information for all new employees' (Educational Support Professionals, Certified Staff, and Executive Professionals) personal and professional needs.

    Department highlights include presentations from departments like: Communications, Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, Equal Opportunity Programs/Ombudsman Services, and Safety teams. Additional resources such as PERA and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) benefits are available via online links.

    • The Online NEO course is found on D11's Professional Learning Platform (PLP). This platform contains the district's library of professional development courses. 
      • Printed resources and video directions explaining how to navigate to the online learning platform to register and complete courses are here.
