Hello Doherty Students and Families,

You are receiving this communication because you are registered for the 2022 Summer Bridge at Doherty High School. This communication provides you with the details concerning both sessions.

Student Schedule

Students registered for Summer Bridge with their counselor/teacher or by completing the form using the QR code on the poster. Students will see their schedule in Powerschool and we will have a paper copy of their schedule available on the first day of the session.

Attendance

It is required that students attend every day of the session they registered for. If a student experiences a planned or unplanned absence, they will be dropped from the session.

Credit

Summer Bridge is a continued school year. Students will have the opportunity to earn credit(s) for classes they failed during the 2022/23 school year and will need to demonstrate the skills and knowledge required.

Session Dates

Session 1 – June 6 – June 17th - Periods 1, 2, and 3 will meet.

Session 2 - June 20th – July 1st - Periods 4, 5, and 6 will meet.

Bell Schedule

Bus Drop Off/Breakfast 8:30

1 - Class 8:45-10:20 95 mins - allows time for Pledge, announcements, etc.

Passing 10:20 - 10:25 5 mins

2 - Class 10:25-11:55 90 mins

Lunch 11:55-12:30 35 mins (cafeteria will be open)

Passing 12:30-12:35 5 mins

3 - Class 12:35-2:05 90 mins

Technology

Students will be issued a computer on the first day of the Session they are registered for and will return the computer at the end of the session.
