Am I allowed to come into the school to exchange my laptop for a new one?
Yes, bring the laptop to the library between 8 am - 3 pm M-F (or alternatively, depending on new rules... Yes, bring your laptop to the school and remain in your car. Call either 328-3623 or 328-3653 to let us know you have arrived, and we will deliver your laptop to you outside).
When I tried to login to the computer, I received the message, "Your domain is not available".
Click on the Wifi symbol in the corner of your login screen and disconnect from your home Wifi, then reconnect. If you receive the same message, you will need to take the laptop to your nearest D11 school (any of them will work) and get close enough to the building to connect to "D11 Data" Wifi. Login with your normal username/password, restart your computer once, and login again. Once back home, reconnect to your home Wifi.
My Microphone does not work during a Webex.
Make sure that it is not muted with the F4 button. Restart your computer. Plug it into the charger so that it is not using battery power. Click on the battery symbol in the lower right corner and slide the bar all the way to the right where it says, "Best Performance". Re-enter your Webex meeting through Schoology.
My audio stopped working during a Webex.
Restart your computer. Plug it into the charger so that it is not using battery power. Click on the battery symbol in the lower right corner and slide the bar all the way to the right where it says, "Best Performance". Re-enter your Webex meeting through Schoology.
After I entered my email to login to Webex, all I got was a white screen.
Click on the X in the corner of the white screen to close it. Wait a few moments for a new screen to load. It will look different, but it will ask for another login. Login again, using email if it asks for that, or using your username/password if it asks for that (students have seen it both ways at different times). Try joining the meeting again after this secondary login.
Schoology (and other sites) are not loading correctly, or they say my login is incorrect.
Make sure you are only using Chrome as your browser. Click on the circle in the upper right corner of Chrome and make sure it is logged in with your D11 email and "sync is on" (if the email showing is a gmail or other personal account, it will not be able to login correctly to school sites). Always link to all school sites through the Coronado homepage at www.d11.org/coronado; do not "search" google for the sites.
My Webex popup states that I have no meetings scheduled. Do I still have class?
Yes, the Webex app will not always show your scheduled classes. You should always go to Schoology and click on your Webex link for every single class, following the school bell schedule, even when the app states that there is nothing scheduled.
I'm interested in the free Hotspot. How do I get it?
T-Mobile is working with school districts and has more information posted on their website at this LINK. Parents must opt into this opportunity by completing this FORM. Student and family information will be kept confidential. District 11 plans to begin checkout of these devices in the coming weeks with priority given to households with the greatest need.
When I logged into Webex, I got the message, "Your account does not have access".
Email firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com with your full name and the error message and we will get access enabled for your account.
