    The following links will take you to websites that help you create full citations in MLA format, APA format, and other formats used in academic research.

    Here is how it works...You collect and enter in the correct bibliographic information about your source, enter it in, and the site will format it for you correctly! Then all you have to do is copy this formatted citation into the Works Cited page of your report. And yes, this is perfectly acceptable and is not plagiarism! These tools are designed for students to use.

    Please remember to fill in all the boxes! Especially when searching by ISBN, you may need to complete the citation with dates, places, etc. (These citations are open source and taken from student work.) Don't forget your page numbers! You also need to make sure you capitalize and spell correctly. These tools format exactly what you type--they don't fix it for you!
