Hello!
I was born and raised in Wisconsin. Go Pack Go! I went to college in Minnesota before I went to South America where I taught at an international school in Ecuador. I lived there for 8 years. I returned to the States and completed my Masters degree in education and worked with a private Christian school and on staff at Northwestern University in Minnesota as an advisor for their student teaching program. I moved to Colorado Springs in 2010. I worked at a daycare for two years before moving to Oklahoma City to teach in a public school there. I returned to Colorado Springs in the summer of 2013 where I began my teaching in District 11. I truly love Colorado and in many ways reminds me of the mountains of Ecuador. I enjoy getting out into the nature either for walks, hikes, mountain drives or camping! I have two dogs named Ella and Haylee who are sweet and cuddly girls. I enjoy taking them with me on all my adventures. I love grabbing a coffee with friends especially at Dutch Bros! Yum! Most of all I enjoy teaching and developing relationships with my students. I love keeping in touch with them far beyond the years I have school student contact with them and have former students all over the world! I've been teaching since 1998. I've been at West Elementary since 2016.
