Tri-Lakes Cares
- Tri-Lakes Cares is a community-based, volunteer supported, resource center whose purpose is to improve people’s lives through emergency, self-sufficiency and relief programs.
- Services and programs include food assistance, financial assistance, medical assistance, and educational opportunities for children and adults.
- Tri-Lakes Cares was originally founded as a food pantry and our food programs continue to be the cornerstone of what they do. They have the following food programs:
- "Help Yourself" Market
- Fresh produce and other grocery items are donated by Care and Share and many other local food providers and are distributed based on the number of people in the household.
- Food can be picked up once a day per household, every Monday and Thursday 12:00-3:00 pm & 6:00-8:00 pm
- Supplemental Groceries
- Eligible clients may receive a week’s worth of groceries (food and sundries) during a crisis situation in order to help subsidize their grocery shopping, which can then free up income to be used for other household expenses.
- Groceries may include:
- Food (canned or boxed)
- Frozen meat (when available)
- Laundry detergent
- Paper products like toilet paper, paper towels, tissue, etc.
- Hygiene products such as shampoo, soap, dental items
- “Snack Pack” Program
- A weekend supplemental food program available for children (Pre-K to High School) who are on the free and/or reduced meal plans in our local schools.
- "Help Yourself" Market
Location: 235 Jefferson St, Monument, CO 80132
