    To help minimize the cost of school supplies to parents/guardians, District 11 will provide each student with a basic supply starter kit customized for each grade level.  Field trip fees will be collected for each field trip event, and deposited into individual classroom accounts. Unless otherwise specified, all checks should be made out to: Trailblazer Elementary School.

    **Kindergarten - Fifth Grade (Parents/Guardians to provide, per grade level, if necessary)**
    ▪ 1 backpack (if your student does not already have one; label with student’s first initial & last name)
    ▪ 1 set of earbuds or headphones
    ▪ 2 pkgs. of dry erase markers, chisel tip, 4 ct. each (assorted colors – K-2; black – Grades 3-5)
    ▪ 1 large box of tissues

  • SUMMER MEALSJust as learning does not end when school lets out, neitherdoes the need for good nutrition. Children who aren't hungry learn better, act better and feel better. During the school year, more than 18 million children receive free and reduced-price meals at school. During the summer, that number drops to about 3 million. Summer food programs provide nutritious meals to children.
    School District 11 will again offer an open summer food service program for children 1-18 years of age. The program will provide free breakfast and lunch during the summer, Monday through Friday, at the locations, dates, and times shown below.

  • Internet Equity for D11 Students

    The Foundation for School District 11 has joined with district leaders to support a new district initiative, Internet Equity for D11 Students.

    If you've just moved to the area or just lost their internet,  here is the contact information to apply for free internet.  We have plenty of codes and hotspots left.  Thank you to all the donors for their support.  We are making plans to extend the program to help D11 families in the future.  Please let us know if we can help.
