Solar (PV) Production
-
In 2012, District 11 made a significant investment in renewable energy through the installation of seven rooftop solar panel arrays. Across the District, there are now ten sites with supplemental solar energy production with system capacities totaling 550 kilowatts. These systems have produced an estimated 4 million kilowatt-hours to date. This is equivalent to the amount of electricity required to power 446 homes for one year!
