Boxes and Bullets plan and paragraph
Here is one example we did in class. The plan is called boxes and bullets. The final paper is written so that each part of the plan gets its own sentence. This helps lengthen the paragraph. Also, it helps organize the information so that the students stick to the writing prompt. We practiced this in class. If your child did not practice this you are allowed to print this paragraph off and use the colors yellow, green and red to show your understanding of how to write the paragraph in class. Please see me if you have any other questions.

Example of final Boxes and Bullets with colors
Here is one example of how the boxes and bullets work. This is a final paper that we wrote together in class with the colors added. You will be asked the same question on the Test we are taking on Thursday. You may change the subtopics to the topics you would like to write about or you may choose the same topics. I will be reading each one and looking for each part of boxes and bullets. Happy Studying!
