Dear Henry Families,
I hope that this message finds you and your family well. We have been working with El Paso County Public Health and D11 health staff to make the best possible decision for our school community. At this time, we need to share some very important information with your family.
Due to COVID-related illnesses, all Henry Elementary classes will be held remotely beginning Tuesday, November 10th, 2020. As of now, we plan to resume in person learning on December 1st after Thanksgiving break.
The parents of all students known to have close contact with people with COVID-19 have been notified and instructed to keep their children home. Staff who were in close contact have also been instructed to quarantine. Our School Kitchen will remain open during this period of remote learning for food distribution with curbside food options for breakfast and lunch.
Both meal options will be available from 11am-12:30 pm on regular school days. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.

We invite you to be part of a community-wide conversation as School District 11 presents Beyond the Mask: A trust-building and listening tour. Nov. 19—Moving Forward: Where have we been? Where are we going? Moving the District Forward with Plans for Equity, Academics, and Facilities. The first event is Thursday, November 19 at 6 p.m. and will be a virtual event streamed live to the D11 Facebook page. D11 leadership representatives and board members will address questions, thoughts, and ideas as we collectively move forward during this pandemic.
