Hello families!

This is my first year teaching at Chipeta and I am so excited to be here with such an amazing staff as well as my own children. I have four children: Jacob (14 years old; Holmes Middle School), Olivia (11 years old; Chipeta), Isaac (6 years old; Chipeta), and Michaela (3 years old).

This is my 12th year teaching at the elementary level (8 years in Kindergarten, 2 years in 1st grade, and 2 years in fifth grade). Prior to going into teaching, I was a para-professional in SPED here in D11. I also taught preschool for 4 years.

I have a passion for everything reading; I LOVE to read on my own time (which is not a lot) and I love seeing the joy when kids discover that passion.

I am looking forward to teaching, learning, and growing in the Chipeta community.
