I am the 2nd/3rd grade teacher at Jackson.  I have been teaching since 2001 and I have been at Jackson since 2002.  I attended California Polytechnic State University where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies and Elementary Education.  I have taught Kindergarten through 5th grade but mostly 2nd and 3rd grade.  My favorite subjects are reading and math.  

I grew up in a small town near Flint, Michigan.  Most of my family, including my dad and brother, still live in Michigan.  I moved to Colorado when my family was transferred to Peterson AFB in 2002.  After years of living on different military bases, my family and I are happy to call Colorado Springs home.  I have 2 wonderful daughters, Ashley and Krysten.  I also have 2 dogs, Chip and Kody. When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, hiking, and volunteering at the Air Force Academy.
