Time to Prepare for CMAS
We are rapidly approaching the end of third quarter. Soon we will begin the Statewide Colorado Measures of Academic Success or CMAS testing. CMAS is the state’s indicator of academic preparedness for language arts, math, science and social studies. It’s aligned to the state’s rigorous academic standards and designed to gauge how well students are mastering the standards and are prepared for their next grade. The results provide a picture of student performance to schools, districts, teachers, parents, and the community. Results show how students are progressing academically, which is a key component to ensuring students are on track to graduate prepared for college and career. Town Hall Discussions
D11 Superintendent Mr. Michael Gaal and the district leadership team want to hear from you!
Starting in November, the District will host a series of Town Hall Discussions to hear your thoughts and concerns, answer questions, and engage on topics that impact our schools and school district. The first town hall is on November 1, 2022, 6-7 p.m. at Coronado High School, 1590 W. Fillmore St., 80904, in the cafeteria. We will start the conversation with budget updates and answer questions about school budgets but will address topics you bring up, too. If you are not able to attend this town hall, more will be scheduled in the second semester across the District, or you may stream the conversation live at www.D11.org/TV. We hope to engage with you!
