    OUTDOOR ADVENTURE CLUB: Good morning Outdoor Adventure Club! See you at 9:00 a.m. sharp this Saturday morning at Holmes front parking lot. It's a day of fishing at Rampart Reservoir. See you at 9:00 a.m.

    HOLMES SOCCER: Holmes Soccer Team No. 2 defeated Team No. 1 in a close matchup on Wednesday. Team No. 1 went up 2 to 0 in the 1st half with goals from Diego Munoz and Luca Murillo.  During the 2nd half, Team No. 2 scored 3 unanswered goals, 2 from John Corbett and 1 from Charlie Smith. The final score was 3 to 2. Awesome defense from Emma Hylton, Isla Lucero, Cody Clark and Emily Ruch. Next game is Monday. Don't forget to wear your jerseys to school!

    CO-ED SOCCER: Holmes Team No. 1 made a dramatic comeback against North Middle School; being down 0 to 3 and coming back to tie the game 4 to 4. Holmes Soccer Team No. 2 was defeated by West Middle School with a score of 0 to 3 despite valiant efforts by John Corbett and Cody Clark and outstanding goal keeping by Bryce McDonald. Come out and see your Holmes Hawks square off at a home game on Wednesday. Both Team No. 1 and Team No. 2 will be playing to see who rules the roost. Warm-ups on Wednesday down at the track at 4:30 p.m.

    NJHS:  The final National Junior Honor Society meeting of the year will be Wednesday, May 11th at 8:00 a.m. in the media center. You will be voting for next year's officers. All current members - bring your volunteer hours form to the meeting. If you are planning to run for office, please prepare a 3 to 5 minute presentation introducing yourself and share why you are running for your position and what attributes you will bring to the leadership team. Also, during this meeting, you will receive your summer volunteer information. This meeting is for current and newly inducted members.

    ORCHESTRA CONCERTOrchestra concert May 12th at 7:00 p.m. Students should arrive by 6:15 p.m.

    STUDENT COUNCIL DANCE! The Student Council will be hosting another dance on Thursday, May 19th. The theme is Hawaiian Beach Day. Wear your summer clothes, get that lei or grass skirt, bring your sunglasses, and let's join the Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride! The dance is from 4:30 p.m.to 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. The cost is only $5 and refreshments will be supplied by FCCLA. Every student is eligible to attend, EXCEPT anyone with an office referral beginning May 4th! So, keep your nose clean and behave! Warm days, hot music and cool sand between your toes. What a way to end the year! Tickets will go on sale soon!

    INTRAMURAL DODGEBALL: Good morning Dodgeballers! Intramural Dodgeball is back and will be run in the gym from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. We will meet in May on the 13th and 20th.  See Coach W if you have any questions and look for posted fliers for the dates we meet.

    CO-ED SOCCER: Come out and support Holmes Soccer Team No. 2 at their home game tonight against West Middle School. Players meet out on the track field at 4:30 p.m. for warm ups.  Holmes Team No. 1 will be playing at North Middle School.  Players see the email with directions for North's field which was sent out on Thursday. Warm ups start at 4:30 p.m.  Good luck to both teams!

    NJHS:  The final National Junior Honor Society meeting of the year will be Wednesday, May 11th at 8:00 a.m. in the media center. You will be voting for next year's officers. All current members - bring your volunteer hours form to the meeting. If you are planning to run for office, please prepare a 3 to 5 minute presentation introducing yourself and share why you are running for your position and what attributes you will bring to the leadership team. Also, during this meeting, you will receive your summer volunteer information. This meeting is for current and newly inducted members.

    SOFTBALL: Next game is tomorrow, Tuesday.
