Mission Statement:

It is the mission of the LTE and Library Media Center Staff to serve as support to the learning community of Fremont Elementary by empowering them to access and use information in a variety of formats, as well as encouraging and preparing students to be life-long learners.  

This mission is accomplished by:

• providing instruction in information literacy
• encouraging a love of reading
• collaborating with other educators to develop learning strategies that support the curriculum
• providing intellectual and physical access to up-to-date informational materials
• supporting the district’s and Information Literacy standards.
