           Wilson Elementary Media Center's vision is to develop an information literacy program that will assist staff in the implementation of content curriculum and will assist students to achieve their learning goals.

            The mission of the Wilson Media Center is to promote a culture of learning by ensuring that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information.

Wilson Media Center Goals

To accomplish the mission of the Wilson Elementary Media Center, Media Center Staff will

&   promote the joy and relevance of reading

&   make information available in many forms

&   teach students and staff how to find and use information

&   work together with staff to integrate technology and information literacy standards into content area assignments
