The Wasson Arts Magnet Program is a program designed to bring out the artistic and academic side of every student that enters its doors. 

The Wasson Arts Magnet consists of several strands.  The strands are as follows:  band, drama, technical theater, choir, dance, visual art, and orchestra.

Challenge yourself to be the best that you can be by auditioning for the Wasson Arts Magnet program. 

 

 

“The Laramie Project”

 

The Wasson Arts Magnet Program presented “The Laramie Project” on November 20-22, 2008.  It was a groundbreaking performance in that the play had never been presented in Colorado Springs.  The students were originally discouraged from presenting the play but through a unified effort they were able to present a triumphant production.  They were joined on the stage by The OutLoud Men’s Choir.  It was a moving presentation that will be talked about for years!

“You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown”

           Performances will be held on November 19, 20, & 21 at 7:00pm each evening.  Catch up with the Peanuts Gang as they try to navigate through life.
