Montana State University in Bozeman in hosting three all-day campus visits, The cost of the program is $15 per person and includes lunch and snacks. The scheduled dates are: October 17^th, January 30^th, and April 3^rd. Pikes Peak Library District would like to let the community know about an exciting volunteer opportunity starting his Fall 2008 at East Teen Center in the East Library. Starting with the 08/09 school year, they would like to offer after school homework help to middle and high school students and need volunteers to act as tutors to them. They are looking for honors or advanced placement students who would enjoy helping younger teens with math, science, writing, and other homework. We are asking they commit to only one afternoon a week for approximately 2 ½ to 3 hours. Any interested students can fill out an application online at ppld.org/teens.
