About Us

What is a High School Counselor:

Wasson High School adheres to the philosophy that the school counseling program is an essential and integral part of the overall education process.  The comprehensive program is built on the assumption that certain educational, career and personal objectives are attainable when school counseling is provided for all.  This implementation acknowledges that school counseling is no longer a service to be offered, but a program coordinated with other educators incorporating a comprehensive, developmental, and sequential curriculum.

Our Mission:

The mission of Roy J. Wasson High School Counseling Department is to assist students in their progression through high school by supporting them in reaching their potential and to support all staff in their endeavors to increase student achievement.
