PROGRAM An interactive presentation using the EnviroScape Nonpoint Source
model to demonstrate the relationship between daily land-use practices
and water quality. Various “pollutants” (cocoa, colored drink mixes,
etc.) are applied to the landscape with subsequent “rainfall” (spray
bottles)creating contaminated runoff and a polluted watershed. The
EnviroScape is a great educational tool that could assist any teacher to
reach the science standards. This is a fun hands-on presentation which
kids love.
