| Mrs.
Pratt was born in Biloxi, Mississippi but grew up in a suburb of
Washington, D.C. She attended the University of Maryland where she received a
B.A. Degree in Psychology and a teaching certificate in Special
Education. In addition to being a teacher, she has had the opportunity to try several other careers. Mrs. Pratt has managed a construction and remodeling company, owned and operated a child development center, and has been a public librarian. In 2005 she received her Master's in Library Science from the University of Oklahoma and relocated to Colorado. She has been the library director of the Manitou Springs Public Library and is glad to now be at Trailblazer. |
