Ms. Kate Myers, Band Teacher

     Kate Myers was born and raised in Colorado Springs (as were both of her parents and grandfather!). She has a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!), a Master's from CU Boulder, and a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix. She has been teaching for 28 years, the last 25 in District Eleven. Teaching beginning band is really the best job in the whole world!
     She has two dogs whose names are Peter and Bear. When she isn't busy doing music stuff she likes to read, knit, and play with genealogy.
