The Tesla Alternative
Middle School is an educational alternative to the conventional middle
school. It offers a standards based curriculum in
Reading, English, Social Studies, Science and Math using alternative delivery
and evaluation techniques. Students who attend TAMS may have
academic difficulty in a conventional middle school.
Counseling is available
at TAMS to address specific student needs in a safe and confident
setting

Referral
Information
Students can be referred
to TAMS. by a counselor, administrator, teacher, parent or self.
The home school must be contacted first about the options and
opportunities available to them. If TAMS is an appropriate choice, the
principal or middle school director should be contacted to arrange an
interview and discuss other referral procedures
