Six steps to a great research project.

 

Step #1  What do I need to do?

 

Step #2  What resources will I use to find the information I need?

~ Will I use books?

~ Will I use an encyclopedia?

~Will I find information online?

Step #3  Where can I find the resources I need?

Taylor Library Catalog- You can find books and    encyclopedias that will help you find the information you need.

   EBSCO is a great place to find all kinds of information.

 

Step #4  Read the resources, the books, encyclopedia to find the information you need.  Take notes while you read.

 

Step #5  What am I going to do with this information? 

~Write a report

~Do an experiment

~Create a poster

~Create a speech

~Create a PowerPoint presentation

~Something of my own creation

Always cite the book, encyclopedia or webpage that you use.
