Haas’ and Mrs. Stull’s/Mrs. Kitchen’s 2nd Grade:
Can you believe the last
month of school is here? It seems that the year has flown by
and May is filled with lots of learning and fun!
On May 15th,
our second graders will be going on our end-of-year field trip
to the Pueblo Zoo. After visiting the zoo, children will be
able to ride the park rides for one hour before eating
lunch. The cost of the field trip will be paid for through
our classroom budget which is provided for by the PTA and
Stratton. Parents are welcome if they are willing to help
chaperone. The cost of the zoo is $5.50 per parent.
Unfortunately, younger siblings are not allowed. This will be a
special time for you to bond with your second grade child.
We understand that as the weather gets
warmer students begin to get “Spring Fever”. Please continue to
complete homework and keep on your routines as we will continue
to work hard until the very end of school. This will help us
all keep focused.
