ABOUT OUR SCHOOL:
Winfield Scott Stratton Elementary School
is named after one of Colorado's early mining millionaires known for his

Stratton Elementary School was built in 1953 and opened to a
developing neighborhood near the Colorado Springs Country Club. Fifty years
later, Stratton is a "school of choice" in the city of Colorado Springs.
About 60% of the student population "permit" or choose to attend Stratton
because of the excellent and caring staff, high expectations, the ITI
environment, stability, and high achievement scores.
The
ITI (Integrated Thematic Instruction) environment is based upon the
