Stratton Elementary
Students are required to give credit to whom credit is due when they
place someone else's information in their own work. Here are guidelines
for Fair Use in educational work:

Text - 10% or 1,000 words, whichever is less

Film - up to 10% or 3 minutes, whichever is less

Poetry - all of a poem less than 250 words, max of 3 poems by one author or 5 in an anthology. Over 250 words, can use 250 words and no more than 3 parts from a poem or five from different poets in same anthology.

Music, lyrics and music video - 10% but no more than 30 seconds.

Illustrations or photographs - limit of 5 works from one artist or photographer. Limit of 10% or 15 images, whichever is less, from a collection.
