Spring Creek Youth Services Center (S.C.Y.S.C.) is a youth correctional facility whose purpose is dedicated to helping youth assume accountability for their actions, evaluate where they stand in the community, and learn how to positively contribute back to the community. S.C.Y.S.C. offers a treatment program that is designed to help youth deal with the struggles of the real world by teaching them practical problem solving strategies. Colorado Springs District 11 has contracted with the Department of Human Services to offer an education program so residents can either continue their secondary education, earn their G.E.D., earn college credits, and/or take a limited number of vocational courses.
